Dakar, Senegal – On 15 and 16 December 2025, the African Union (AU) Panel of the Wise held a two-day consultative roundtable with eminent religious and traditional leaders from the Sahel and West Africa. The meeting aimed to reaffirm the importance of inclusive dialogue and preventive diplomacy in strengthening peace, social cohesion, and regional resilience.
