Abstract:

The article presents an interview with University of St. Gallen researcher Dr. Alex Krumer who discusses various topics including the performance levels of tennis players in Grand Slam tennis tournaments and the claim that female tennis players respond better to competitive pressure than male tennis players. According to the article, Krumer and his colleagues examined every first set that was played at the 2010 U.S., Australian, and French Opens and Wimbledon Championships tournaments.
