Addis Ababa Declaration on Media, Climate, Peace, Security, and Justice Adopted at the Pre-Summit Forum to the Second Africa Climate Summit (ACS2), 6-7 September 2025

We, the participants of the Pre-Summit Forum to the Second Africa Climate Summit, held in Addis Ababa under the theme “Media as a Catalyst for Africa’s Climate Change, Peace and Security Agenda: Driving Just Transition and Climate Justice”, and convened under the leadership of the Department of Political Affairs, Peace and Security of the African Union Commission (PAPS) and the Federation of African Journalists (FAJ), hereby declare the following:
