The Peace and Security Council,
Recalling previous decisions and pronouncements on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Peace and Security, in particular the Communiqué [PSC/PR/COMM.1214 (2024)] adopted at its 1214th adopted on 13 June 2024;
Noting the opening statements by Honorable Minister Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates of the Kingdom of Morocco and Chairperson of the PSC of the AU for March 2025; and by H.E. Mahamoud Ali Youssouf, Chairperson of the AU Commission;
Also noting the Introductory Statement by H.E. Ambassador Bankole Adeoye, AU Commissioner for Political Affairs, Peace and Security; and the Statement by Mr Bernardo Mariano Junior, Assistant Secretary-General, Chief Information Technology Officer, UN Office of Information and Communications Technology (UNOICT); and
