Disarmament, Demobilisation and Reintegration in the Democratic Republic of the Congo: Can Stability Prevail?

From the very beginning, the Democratic Republic of the Congo's (DRC) new disarmament, demobilisation and reintegration (DDR) programme was lauded as a key process that would bring peace and security to the eastern DRC, and sustainable stability in the African Great Lakes region.
