Politics of Inheritance, a Legacy that Remained in Africa: An Urgent Call for the Restoration of Peace, Stability, and Well-Being
The politics of inherence is an expression that reflects the state of politics that stems from colonial rule, and legalism continues to this day. African scholars have frequently contested the political legacy of colonialism. Africa views colonisation's political impact as a crucial aspect in comprehending the continent's current state and people. Therefore, a thorough analysis ought to be given to research that begins on an interdisciplinary journey to study and articulate the politics of inheritance, a legacy that has survived throughout Africa, with an urgent call for the restoration of peace, stability, and well-being. Among the main themes that will be addressed include the ideas that drive challenges and destabilization and historical trajectories in Africa, post-colonial challenges, and local solutions for local concerns. The research methodology encompasses a thorough literature review, coupled with case studies and qualitative analysis, seeking to amalgamate diverse perspectives and insights into a cohesive framework. This rigorous approach aims to synthesise a robust body of knowledge capable of guiding future research and informing policy and societal interventions. Afrocentricity scholar provides the foundation for the study. One of the study's conclusions emphasises that Africa's stability and peace are put at risk by the continent's incapacity to collaborate during conflicts and its inability to fight against the Western-inspired model in a single voice. As a result, the study concluded that Africa should support indigenous, innovative solutions to social difficulties arising from colonialism's political legacy.
