The Role of Housing in Social Integration Strategies for Disadvantaged Young People
This paper is largely based on the findings of a study conducted in 11 European countries on the housing of young people and the implications, in terms of social integration.|In the light of these findings and our own experiences in France, we stress the importance of this issue, highlight the conclusions to be drawn for any policy linking housing and social integration, and conclude by emphasising the possibilities opened up by novel approaches in this area, as regards both access to housing and access to employment.
