The African Union Commission, in partnership with the Ivorian Ministry of Justice, and in collaboration with the Initiative for Transitional Justice in Africa—led by the International Center for Transitional Justice (ICTJ) and the Mouvement Ivoirien des Droits Humains (MIDH), with support from the European Union—convened a three-day specialized training on African Union transitional justice policy. The training, held from 9 to 11 April 2025 in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, targeted a diverse range of national stakeholders, including state and non-state actors from French-speaking African Union Member States.
