The Principals of the Quintet (African Union, IGAD, League of Arab States, European Union and United Nations) in continuation of their sustained engagement with Sudanese stakeholders, will undertake a Good Offices mission to Khartoum on the 08 – 10 September 2026. The purpose of this visit is to pursue direct political consultations with Sudanese stakeholders on the ground. During the mission, the Quintet will listen to assessments of the current situation and share reflections on its work to date.
