Abstract:
The Boko Haram insurgency in north-eastern Nigeria has, over its six years, grown to be a regional conflict with attacks launched against civilian and military targets alike in neighbouring countries Cameroon, Chad and Niger. Cameroon has arguably borne the brunt of the expanded geographic scope of insurgent operations, suffering numerous raids and suicide bombings by the group.
