Abstract:

The book is a welcome oasis in an area of scarce literature. The language is powerful and often cryptic. This is certainly not an uncomplicated read. With the absence of other much needed literature on the decolonising of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, this book requires a deep scrutiny of almost every sentence if the intended meaning is to be grasped. Paradoxically, it seems that some authors appropriated the complex language of the coloniser to write in ways that are difficult to comprehend. Some authors should have utilised simpler language to allow for a more inclusive readership.
