Abstract:

This first Mutual Review of Development Effectiveness in Africa has been prepared jointly by our two organizations at the request of the NEPAD. In making this request, NEPAD leaders were seeking to establish a way of tracking performance by both African countries and their OECD development partners against the publicly stated commitments that have been made on all sides since the landmark events of the founding of NEPAD, the Monterey Consensus and the G8 Action Plan for Africa.
