Abstract: 

The article discusses whether search advertisements (search ads) are an effective tool for helping boost a business' sales, and it also provides a brief interview with Internet company Yelp Inc.'s senior vice president for business operations Matt Halprin who discusses digital advertising, search ads, and the attitudes of advertisers. Advertising using the Facebook online social networking service and the Internet search engine Google is examined, along with business and sales strategies.
