The Effect of Perceived Organisational Justice on Organisational Citizenship Behaviour through Leader Member Exchange: Evidence from Ethiopian Public Universities Context
This study aimed to empirically investigate the effect of organisational justice on organisational citizenship behaviour in developing countries like Ethiopia from the public universities' context. Grounded in the social exchange theory, this study tested the mediating role of leader-member exchange in the relationship between perceived justice and citizenship behaviour. Data from 312 non-academic staff members were analysed using covariance-based structural equation modelling (CB-SEM) with the help of SPSS plus AMOS. Results showed that perceived organisational justice has only a direct effect on organisational citizenship behaviour. Therefore, this study makes a significant contribution to curtailing the resignation of the staff in the institutions under investigation.
