Impact of Start-Up Logistic Concerns and Lack of Business Confidence on Entrepreneurial Intention among Some University Students in South Africa - Research
A few studies have recently examined and added to the literature on graduating students' entrepreneurial enthusiasm in the West, but little has been accomplished in South Africa. The present investigation analysed the influence of start-up logistic concerns and lack of business confidence on entrepreneurial intention. It used a survey research design and a structured validated questionnaire to sample of 366 (205 male and 161 female) university students in South Africa. Four hypotheses were stated and tested using Pearson's Correlation Analysis and Multiple Regression Analysis. The outcomes affirmed the assumed significant connection between start-up logistic concerns, lack of business confidence and entrepreneurial intention. The outcomes also showed that there is a significant joint influence by start-up logistic concerns and lack of business confidence on entrepreneurial intention, F (2, 363) = 18.617; R2 = 0.088; p<. 01, a significant independent impact of lack of business confidence on entrepreneurship intention, (? = 0.245; t= 4.110; p< .01), but no significant impact of start-up logistic concerns on entrepreneurial intention. The results are significant for strategy creators and experts in advancing business enthusiasm among the youth.
