The law of international civil service: As applied by international administrative tribunals vol. 1

This second revised edition of law of the international civil service which was first publicized in 2 volumes in 1988 has been prepared with the intention of bringing the material up to date. Volume I and II are being produced more or less as self-contained volumes, in order to facilitate use on their own. Each one has its own Tables of Cases, Abbreviations and Index, for instance, and the contents of these are confined to each volume. The select bibliography in Volume II covers both Volumes I and II, while the appendices are also relevant to both volumes. The are only two appendices which incorporate staff regulation and rules of two international organizations. The appendices (I to IV) in the first edition which incorporated statutes and rules of administrative tribunals have been excluded. For these, readers are referred to my Documents on International Administrative Tribunals. The pages in each volume are numbered from 1 onwards as are the chapters. References in each volume to the other are very few.
