Abstract:
The article focuses on the development of patriotism in late colonial Buganda. The author discusses the history of Buganda's relationship with Uganda and other East African regions, explores the political reform and development that took place in colonial Buganda after World War II, and examines the impact of nationalism among colonial Ganda peoples.
