Abstract: 

Despite Morocco's good cooperation with the European Union and US over illegal immigration and terrorism, the country's location as a drug nexus is a criminal and security concern. Government seems more interested in using the issue to attack opponents in the Western Sahara than in cleaning up internal corruption fuelled by organised crime.
