Abstract:

The article examines neurodiversity and the benefits it can deliver to companies. Neurodiversity describes individuals with neurological conditions such as dyspraxia, dyslexia, and autism spectrum disorder who possess significant skills that include memory, mathematics, and pattern recognition. Although conventional recruitment methods and standardized approaches leave this population largely untapped, innovation calls on companies to seek different perspectives and ideas. Organizations can host comfortable gatherings in which neurodiverse job applicants can demonstrate their capabilities in interactions with managers, and establish a support ecosystem for their neurodiverse employees that can include a work mentor and a job and life skills coach.
