Abstract:
The Rhodes MA in Creative Writing gives as much weight and time to reading as it does to writing. It emphasises the affective rather than hermeneutic qualities of a text. The pedagogical model is influenced by the utopian tradition of progressive education espoused by John Dewey, Alfred North Whitehead, John Andrew Rice, and others which emphasise process over product.
